Our story

Since 2006 in the funeral sector

Twenty years in the funeral sector: from our own workshop to a complete funeral service in Moldova and beyond.

  1. 2020 A complete funeral service We restructured the company to take on funeral arrangements, cremation and support for families in Chișinău and across Moldova
  2. 2022 International repatriation We began bringing loved ones home to Moldova from abroad

How we work

What happens after you call

Each family has one dedicated funeral director, who looks after the funeral from the first call to the memorial meal. No one has to explain the situation twice.

  1. We answer and explain

    A funeral director answers 14 000 at any hour of the day or night, explains what needs to be done now and comes out to you.

  2. We collect the deceased

    We take them to our premises or, if the family is saying goodbye at home, bring a refrigerated cover to the house.

  3. We handle the paperwork

    With a power of attorney, we obtain the death notice (avizier), which allows the funeral to go ahead, and after the funeral we obtain the death certificate from the Public Services Agency (ASP).

  4. We prepare the funeral

    We agree the date with the church and the cemetery, and prepare the chapel of rest, the coffin and funeral items, the wreaths and transport for the family.

  5. We are there afterwards

    We help with the memorial days: we put together pomana sets, bake colaci (ritual breads), prepare coliva (a memorial wheat dish), provide a hall for the memorial meal and tidy the grave.

Four promises

You know the cost from the start

We prepare the estimate during our first conversation and fix it in the contract. The amount does not change as the work goes on. We never charge for what is free: registering a death with ASP costs nothing.

The choice stays with the family

You can see the coffin, the cross and the funeral items for yourself in our shop. You are welcome to bring your own clothing and personal belongings: there is no need to buy them from us, and we will never insist.

The rites follow your customs

We ask about the traditions of your family and your parish, explain the options and offer advice, but the final decision is yours.

We work without middlemen

The mortuary, chapel of rest, vehicles and shop all belong to us, so every stage is our own responsibility, not that of a contractor the family never chose.

Ritual Prim has been part of the funeral profession since 2006. We began by making our own crosses and coffins, opened a wholesale depot for funeral supplies in 2012, started arranging funerals in 2020 and added international repatriation in 2022. Today we arrange funerals, cremations and repatriations, and we know that at such a time people need calm, dependable help rather than fine words.
