Is there a crematorium in Moldova?
There is no working crematorium in the Republic of Moldova, so cremation takes place abroad.

Which documents are needed?
The death notice (avizier), the permit to take the deceased out of the country and the deceased's own documents.
If the cremation takes place in the country where the person died, local rules decide which documents are needed. We check what you have and prepare what is missing.

Can there be a farewell and a church service before the cremation?
Yes. We hold the farewell in Chișinău before the journey to the crematorium and take care of the hall, transport, flowers and church service.
If the family would rather say goodbye after the cremation, the ceremony can be held with the urn.

- The ashes come back. We hand the urn to the family in Chisinau together with the official cremation documents.
Which crematorium to choose
We most often recommend the crematorium in Oradea, Romania, one of the most modern in the region. Its cremation documents meet European standards, which makes later formalities simpler, including taking the ashes to another country. Urns can be chosen there too, from plain to premium.
Odesa remains the more affordable option. We will help you compare the two calmly and choose.

How much does cremation cost?
The figure is made up of the cremation itself, the transport and the paperwork, and depends on which crematorium is chosen. Call 14000 and we will give you the full amount for your situation right away, with nothing added later.
How long does it take?
It depends on the documents and the journey, usually a few days. The ashes themselves are normally ready within a day of the cremation.
Can we travel with the deceased and be present?
Yes. You can follow the vehicle and be present at the crematorium. If you would rather leave it all to us, we will prepare a power of attorney and tell you which extra documents are needed.
What can be done with the ashes?
The urn can be buried in a grave or a columbarium, kept at home, or the ashes can be scattered. There are also memorial options, such as a diamond made from the ashes or a memorial tree.
Which documents do you need from the family?
The essentials: the death certificate, the documents of the deceased and the passport of the person arranging it. The rest, including the international transport permits, we prepare ourselves. We will give you the full list when you call.
