Order terms

These terms apply when you order funeral goods or wreaths on the ritualprim.md website. The seller is Service S.D.S. SRL (Ritual Prim), IDNO 1017600045417, registered office: Office 9, 77/A Alexei Mateevici Street, Stăuceni, Chișinău MD-4839, telephone 14000, contact@ritualprim.md. The terms of funeral services (funerals, cremation, repatriation) are agreed in a contract with one of our funeral directors.

How an order is placed

1. You choose goods or a wreath and specify the quantity, the options and, if needed, the wording for a ribbon or plaque.
2. In the basket, you choose how you would like to receive the order and how you will pay, and give your contact details. Before submitting, you can go back to any step and correct any mistakes.
3. After you submit the order, an order number appears on the screen: this confirms that we have received it. Submitting an order does not yet oblige you to pay.
4. A funeral director will contact you to confirm availability, the contents of the order, the final price and the delivery date and time. The contract is concluded when you agree to these details in a conversation or a message. We send you a confirmation of the order, showing its contents and the total amount, by messaging app or email.

We may decline an order if an item is unavailable and you do not accept a replacement, or if we have been unable to contact you. In that case, any amount you have paid is refunded in full.

Prices

Prices are shown in Moldovan lei and are final: Service S.D.S. SRL is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to them. The price that applies is the one in force when the funeral director confirms your order. For some goods and for wreaths made to an individual design, no price is shown ("Price on request"): the funeral director will tell you the price before confirming the order, and the order will not be carried out without your agreement. If the order is part of a funeral arranged by Ritual Prim, the goods are included in the overall funeral estimate.

Delivery and collection

• Ritual Prim is arranging the funeral: we will bring everything to the place of the ceremony ourselves, at no additional charge.
• Delivery to an address: within Chișinău, usually on the day of the order if it is confirmed before 16:00; for the rest of Moldova, the funeral director will tell you the delivery time and cost when confirming the order.
• Collection: free of charge, from 77A Alexei Mateevici Street, Stăuceni, Chișinău, daily from 08:30 to 17:40.

If there is a delivery charge, the funeral director will tell you the amount before confirming the order. Please check the goods when you receive them: it is best to point out any visible damage straight away.

Payment

• Cash or card at our shop in Stăuceni. If a courier delivers your order, you pay in cash on delivery. It is not yet possible to pay on the website.
• Add to the funeral estimate, if the ceremony is arranged by Ritual Prim.

Cancelling an order and returns

You can cancel your order free of charge before we confirm it, and after that for as long as the goods have not been made or dispatched, by calling 14000.

Once you have received the goods, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason (Art. 1060 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova). To do so, tell us by phone, by email to contact@ritualprim.md or by sending us the form below, and return the goods in the same condition as when you received them. We will refund the money you paid, including the cost of standard delivery, using the same payment method you used, no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal. You bear the cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise.

The right of withdrawal does not apply (Art. 1065(1) of the Civil Code) to:

• wreaths and arrangements made from fresh flowers: they deteriorate quickly;
• goods made to your specifications or personalised: wording on a ribbon or plaque, engraving, a wreath made to a design or in a size you have chosen;
• clothing and linen for the deceased whose packaging has been opened: these cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Quality and complaints

If an item turns out to be faulty or is not what you ordered, let us know by calling 14000 or emailing contact@ritualprim.md, ideally with a photo. We will replace the item, remedy the defect, reduce the price or refund your money, as provided for by Law No. 105/2003 on consumer protection. We reply to such messages within 3 working days and give a final response to your claim within 14 days at the latest.

If we cannot reach an agreement, you can contact the State Inspectorate for Non-Food Products Supervision and Consumer Protection (78 Vasile Alecsandri Street, Chișinău MD-2012, tel. +373 22 515 151, consumator.gov.md) or go to court. We do not take part in out-of-court dispute resolution procedures.

Personal data

We need your contact details and delivery address to confirm and deliver your order. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process them.

Withdrawal form

Model withdrawal form set out in Annex 6 to Law No. 1125/2002. Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract; you can also tell us of your withdrawal in your own words.

Language and changes

These terms are published in Romanian, Russian and English; if there is any discrepancy between the versions, the Romanian version prevails. Your order is governed by the version of these terms published at the time it is confirmed.
