We send an itemised estimate before any work begins, and once it is agreed the price does not change. The cost depends on the country and the means of transport

All we need from the family is the details of the deceased and a power of attorney. We prepare every other document ourselves

About repatriation of the deceased

Repatriation of the deceased means bringing a body, or an urn with the ashes, from the country where the person died back to their home country. Ritual Prim takes care of the entire process: we complete the paperwork in the country where the death occurred, prepare the deceased for the journey, plan the route by specialist vehicle across Europe or by cargo flight, meet the deceased in Chișinău and hand them over to the family.

We handle repatriation from across Europe, including England, Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, and from CIS countries, as well as repatriation out of Moldova. The cost depends on the country and the means of transport, and we send an estimate before any work begins.

Repatriation has become the heart of our work. When a loved one dies far from home, we take care of every part of bringing them back: the paperwork in both countries, preparation, the journey and their arrival in Moldova, to any town or village.

  4. The journey to Moldova. By road in a hearse or by air, depending on the country and the family's wishes.
  5. Home. We are there on arrival, bring the deceased to the family home or the chapel of rest and, if needed, help to arrange the funeral.
