Cookie policy

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way. This policy lists everything that the ritualprim.md website stores on, or reads from, your device, why it does so and for how long.

Website operator: Service S.D.S. SRL (trading as Ritual Prim). Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data more generally.

When we need your consent

Necessary cookies are set without your consent: the website and its forms cannot work without them, and the law (Art. 116 of Law No. 72/2025 on electronic communications) allows information to be stored on your device where this is strictly necessary for a service you have requested. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you have given your consent. Until you do, Google scripts are not loaded on the website at all and receive no information about your visit. Silence, scrolling the page or closing the banner does not count as consent, and refusing consent does not restrict your access to the website in any way.

You can consent to all cookies at once ("Accept all") or by category ("Manage cookies"). Refusing is just as easy: "Necessary only".

Necessary

These cannot be switched off in the cookie settings.

• laravel-session (Ritual Prim): keeps your session active so that the enquiry and order forms work. Duration: 2 hours.
• XSRF-TOKEN (Ritual Prim): protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery. Duration: 2 hours.
• rp_consent (Ritual Prim): remembers your cookie choices and the date you made them. Duration: 1 year, after which we will ask you again.
• rp_lang (Ritual Prim): remembers the website language if you have chosen it yourself. Duration: 1 year.
• __cf_bm, cf_clearance (Cloudflare): distinguish people from automated programs and protect the website against attacks. They are not always set, only when a check is needed. Duration: from 30 minutes to 1 year.

Browser storage

These entries are stored only on your device. They are sent to our server only as part of a form that you choose to submit.

• rp_cart (localStorage): the contents of your shop basket, until you submit your order or empty the basket.
• rp_order_idempotency_key, rp_order_done (sessionStorage): prevent the same order from being submitted twice. Deleted when you close the tab.
• rp_lead_last (localStorage): the number of your most recent enquiry, so that if you come back to the website we can show you that it has been received. Duration: 24 hours.
• rp_first_touch (sessionStorage): advertising parameters from the web address you arrived from (utm, gclid, wbraid, gbraid). Sent with your enquiry so that we can see which advertising works. Deleted when you close the tab.
• rp-article-big, rp-checklist-… (localStorage): larger text in blog articles and ticks in checklists. Kept until you reset them.

Analytics

Set only with your consent.

• _ga (Google Analytics): distinguishes between visitors so that the same visitor is not counted more than once. Duration: 2 years.
• _ga_* (Google Analytics): stores the state of the current visit. Duration: 2 years.

The statistics do not identify individuals to us: we can see how many people opened a page and where they came from, but not who they are. Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months. If you give this consent, our server also uses the identifier from the _ga cookie: after you submit an enquiry or order, it reports this to Google Analytics, without your name, phone number or the text of your enquiry.

Advertising

Set only with your consent.

• _gcl_au (Google Ads): helps us assess which advertising brought you to the website. Duration: 3 months.
• _gcl_aw (Google Ads): records that you arrived through an advert, so that your enquiry can be attributed to that advert. Duration: 3 months.
• _gcl_ls (Google Ads, browser storage): does the same as _gcl_aw, but is stored in localStorage rather than as a cookie. Duration: 3 months.

We do not display third-party advertising on the website and do not use social media cookies.

Third-party services that set no cookies on our website

• Google Maps: address suggestions in the enquiry form. These load only when you start typing a town or address; Google receives the text you type and your IP address. You do not have to use the suggestions: you can enter the address manually.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: a check, before the form is submitted, that it is being sent by a person.
• Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp and maps open only when you click them. Until you do, these services receive no information about your visit.

How to change your choice

Open "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page: there you can switch analytics and advertising cookies on or off. If you withdraw your consent, the website immediately deletes these cookies from your browser; withdrawal does not affect anything collected before it. If we change the purposes of our cookies or the cookies we use, the banner will ask you to make your choice again.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but the website's forms will not work without the necessary cookies.

We count how many times the banner is shown and which choice is made in it, without using cookies, IP addresses or any other identifiers: this tells us what proportion of visits our statistics cover.
